So I've played Destiny for a long time now and I love the game and keep coming back for more. There's just one thing I don't like about it, which neither Bungie nor Activision have anything to do with it. That's how toxic the community can be. Don't get me wrong I've made a lot of good friends playing the game but the really irritating people are those who are rude for no reason. Me and my friends were doing trials this weekend and we are by no means good, just decent. So we mainly do it since the armor looks nice. Wed gotten to the point if the team was particularly difficult we'd just try and get a dance party and let them win. One of the last matches we played was like this. We simply killed ourselves or just danced from the start. The first two round we all just walked off the map. Regardless of this they kept pushing super aggressively. So my friend messaged them "chill" because it was getting irritating that we were giving them the match yet they insisted on trying hard. One messaged back and simply called us trash and we even explained we were just throwing. He then asked of we wanted to try hard to which we responded no. They were clearly better and we didn't want to fuel their ego any. It just upsets me that after so long people like this have still stuck around.
Thank you for reading if you did get this far after seeing the short novel. I suppose I just needed somewhere to rant. And maybe I did want to post my little sob story and get sympathy but oh well. I just felt I wanted to say it.
Tl;dr: Me and friends were playing trials got called trash when we were clearly throwing the match. It bugged me I posted this.
