I'm a Florida native, and this weekend my family and I got the opportunity to visit Seattle due to a job opportunity my father has. So naturally, I dragged them and my girlfriends' asses to Bellevue so I could see the studio that created the game that has consumed so much of my time for the past 3 years. It being an emotional time in my life, with my parents leaving the state soon after my high school graduation for me to remain on my own in FL with my girlfriend, I got to thinking just how incredible this community has been to me and each other over the past years. So thank you, Bungie, and thank you, Destiny. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community for the past few years, despite the flood of toxicity from those who hate the game for its flaws. I enjoy the game as it is, and I'll always be a Bungie fan.
Edit: I wasn't allowed inside :( bungie hmu w that dank tour info tho B) kappa

And amen to everything you just wrote. Why. Because it's all true.

Given how they treat their customers I'm amazed Deej didn't chase you off with a large fish or something.

I don't think people hate the game as much as they don't appreciate it's creators and their lack of giving a shit. I love Destiny and try and find ways to have fun despite lag and bugs all over the place. What I don't appreciate is the utter disdain toward the community coming from those "certain employees" that couldn't give two shits about the community. There are a few employees in higher positions that do things on purpose to troll the community. One more recent example is how the community was giving backlash to certain Bungie employees for the recent crucible update that nerfed BD and all health regens. So their response to the community backlash? On the up and coming Iron Banner their idea was to make it the Supremacy mode. All the while knowing full and well the last time they offered Supremacy for Iron Banner it didn't go over too well with the community. And that wasn't the icing on the cake either. After Iron Banner was done that next Tuesday what do you think was the weekly and daily crucible activity? Yep you know it! The weekly was Supremacy with no radar and the daily was Supremacy. Lol! Like that ain't obvious or anything. Hehe. But there will be those who wouldn't blink twice and go about their day. I, on the other hand, pick that shit up real quick. Do I care? Not so much. Do I notice the troll moves they do? Absolutely! I actually laugh at how much they let the salt of the community effect them. Must be that ego of theirs; makes it hurt when the community hates their guts. I understand, I do, but in that type of business you have to develop a thick skin and not let it effect you so much. They bring it on themselves really. That has nothing to do with the game and hating the game. Humble is where it's at in life anyway. Just sayin'.
