so? who cares if they "steal" weapons, i honestly don't give a flying pig's @$$. long as the gameplay, graphics and storyline is awesome, idc, and i may end up buying GoW3 cuz i saw that berserker, and it was dope. But really who cares if they have something smiliar.

I really don't get the fret. i mean its a UNSC laser designator, i don't think its copying gears. its Just a smart future tactical weapon to use. I mean really, how do you think gears got it. oh i dunno, a real life military strategy! cept more applied to that world, and to reaches world; An orbital bombardment from ships. sticks to setting and canon right? Oh my sweet Jesus NO ONE CAN CLAIM AN IDEA AS THEIRS! ideas are formed from other ideas so technically NOTHING is original. I'm sure there was a weapon that was like the Hammer Of Dawn before, and I don't see you complaining about that, OP. You need to understand that it doesn't freaking matter anyways. It's a laser designator that sends down a mini airstrike. It's NOT a gun that you point at enemies and a satellite laser comes down and incinerates things. Just because they both have a laser target and both have something come down from the sky doesn't mean they are the exact same thing. Next thing you'll be complaining about is how the shotgun is like a shotgun from (insert game here). [Edited on 06.17.2010 6:28 PM PDT]

Survival mode concepts have been around for a long time. popularity of a certain concept is not stealing unless it is a blatant copy of the established system. For all intents and purposes, OP is a troll. He assumes something as fact and then when we give him balanced well thought out counter points he throws a tantrum, and then there's antigov who is just fueling the OP's and their own troll meter by trying to derail the thread.
