That's awesome. Sony finally let them do something they wanted and it turned out to be amazing.
Take notes Sony and let Naughty Dog make a new IP instead of this horrible sequal cycle.

No. Their lead writer left to work on it. I'll bet she left because they were getting locked in a cycle of sequals.

Source that it was because of sequels. I know Amy Hennig left, but nothing I've read has said it was because of sequels. So I wanted to know if you had a source that says otherwise

Where's your source? Sony has always allowed developers a lot of freedom, he gave Kojima his own studio with the freedom to do as he pleased. Naughty Dog have always been very close with Sony, I'm certain if they didn't feel comfortable making sequels they wouldn't do it, but Uncharted and Last of Us are huge hits that have yet to disappoint. Microsoft on the other hand.

Kojima made his own studio and Sony paid him a lot of money to make his game for PlayStation only. They don't own the rights to his studio. It's what these big publishers do. Microsoft, Sony, Activision, EA, etc. Money is is sequals a lot of the time and they know it.

It stands for intellectual property, referring usually to the products produced by a specific corporation or company.

Technically it means intellectual property (I think). It's basically just a new game entirely rather than a sequal or returning title.

A new IP from naughty dog would be a great news but I doubt it would be any time soon.

This year is mostly new IPs on Xbox's side.

He means AAA title. Sea of thieves looks ok. The beta last year really wasn't that good. That's honestly the only game that looks like it could be good on Xbox side

I wouldn't consider sea of thieves AAA. and it is an opinion that proves time and time again to be true about Xbox exclusives. There comes a point when opinion turns to fact.

Have you ever once heard Xbox has a better exclusive line up? No because it's not true. Any article you read, any report your read says Sony always has the better exclusive line up

I have heard that but it doesn't matter because it's all opinion. Reviews, articles on which is better, etc are all the opinions of the people writing them.
