So, long story short, I've been looking through old youtube videos on my channel and decided to check whether those lag-switchers that I once met on the battle field of Y1 Trials of Osiris are permanently banned from the crucible.
To my surprise... they are not. They all have lvl 40 characters, meaning they have been playing for over a year after they successfully cheated the hell out of me and my team.
So here is my question Bungie! ARE YOU EVEN DOING SHIT TO CHEATERS? DO THOSE -blam!-ING REPORTS EVEN MATTER?
-
Trials is for cheaters, your better off staying away👎🏻

Cheaters is where the money is for this game. It's why they have no dedicated servers, no staff on the forum, and no penalties for cheaters as they're the only ones who keep playing on a constant basis.

Edited by bobswerski: 3/17/2017 1:35:07 PMThey've actually put out some full console bans. You're just butthurt and don't understand what netcode is. Muted.

So you want to ban all three people.... First and foremost one of them was able to be killed easily. That one should not take one, and I don't want to hear this "guilty by association" bs. White the others, there are the signs of teleport red bar lag, as they are shooting randomly, and trying to melee from obscene distances. Where I honestly think things get weird is at the capture point, and even then, you can chalk up grenades to the same said lag. So I'd have kept a watch on those two guys, banning should always be a last resort tactic unless it's blatantly obvious, which it isn't in this case. Heck for all you know those guys could have taken a restriction at one point and got their networks fixed you really don't know because this took place two years ago. Honestly I'd take this video with a grain of salt at this point in time.

This is just your opinion though, not fact.

5 RepliesYou have no proof what so ever that these players were "lagswitching". 99% of players don't even know the process. We got it. You lost two years ago and are still upset. Get over it and move on. Some people just have bad internet.

Muted for shitty intro

5 RepliesThe reports are kinda 50/50 shot. It requires a ton of reports on cheating or bad connection or whatever you picked to actually have disciplinary action. Meaning, multiple people have to report them for the same thing. I believe some of the report options are just s gimmick to satisfy the masses (or the used to be masses since destiny died)

They only permanently accounts after multiple restrictions or if someone has a modded console/software. Very rare they ban without previous restrictions.
