Is Sleeper Simulant Still Viable in raids and such?
I've been out of the loop and just about to hit 360 light level and I was wondering if the Simulant is still viable in raids and such? I do not have iron gjallarhorn btw so if the Simulant is not good anymore, what is a good replacement?

Does higher damage than gjallarhorn with headshots.

For VoG it's going to be the number 1 requirement, for Crota Gjallarhorn is going to be the requirement.

3 RepliesThe Sleeper Simulant is a general top 3 choice for any hardcore raider in terms of DPS. Usually the best DPS weapons for Wrath of the Machine and other raids are: 1) Dark-Drinker (or Touch of Malice for King's Fall) 2) Black Spindle 3) Sleeper Simulant Any of those three and you're set!

It's good for targets with a crit spot. So I wouldn't bother with it for crota.

Used the SS recently on my Titan, it's only at 300 Light but does amazingly. Plus the fact you can hit crits with it is awesome.

Sleeper is the best ranged weapon for DPS that you can put in your heavy slot. It's great for raid bosses n such.

Better than anything heavy wise for single boss fights. Ghorn for lots of ads
