The first time I saw a level 30 light in the tower I was like wow, and he or she (to be politically correct) had a Vex as well. I stood there for 5 minutes checking out the gear. Then that player started changing weapons. The had everythign, and I was so impressed. I remember Bungie said the first player to hit 30 period, was a hunter. I hit level 30 myself a week before Crota dropped. Now almost everyone is a 400 and hardly has to work for it. Gone is the grinding. Running around in circles looking for chests for enough relic iron to level up that one piece of raid gear you got last week. Now players complain if they don't get a full raid set from normal. They just use motes of light to level up weapons and gear, and factions. And Bungie gives new players a spark to they don't have to level up and earn it. That is where Bungie shot themselves in the foot. Or was it the head?

7 RepliesI do, but I was a "fake 30" thanks to a mix of VoG and Iron Banner gear. That had to be one of the dumbest things I've seen this community bitch about.
