Destiny is pretty much the only game I play so it's a real bummer when networking issues make it unplayable. Any time I attempt to join in on a friend, match make for strikes or crucible I get kicked with no error code just the message "You have left your current fire team you are being returned to orbit." Not only has that been happening frequently within minutes of joining on ANYTHING now every time I launch the game select a character and the destination screen loads up I'm given the message "Waiting for party stabilization" above the activity or destination with my gamer tag flashing and the launch button red and inactive. I've been hard wired for months with no prior complications my NAT is open and has never been a problem except in-game chat but party chat clears that up just fine. I'm very disappointed seeing as this is the only game I play. I hope this is on Bungies end and will cease after the Age of Triumph launches. I am wanting to believe this just has to do with the update to come seeing as it has never been a problem before. But as of now I cannot even launch anywhere. Stuck in orbit waiting for party stabilization.

10 RepliesSounds like problems on your end as if it was Bungie there would be a general notification on B.Net and Twitter. For the stabilization problem a hard re-set of your system may be needed but the Return to Orbit problem that is your internet. Destiny uses a P2P host system in game but your internet keeps on losing connection to the host player so you are RtO which is the Destiny matchmaking servers. You said you are not using wifi and have a open NAT but you need to run a internet diagnostic from your system (not a computer and do not let your provider do it for you). You are looking for data loss and high signal latency also router settings may cause problems.
