Nope. It's a major betrayal. If nothing but the look of our characters carries over, there is zero difference between that and just creating new characters. With one bold stroke, Bungie has reneged on their last (and one of their foundational) promises: That our characters are ours and will follow us through the ten-year life of the game. Instead of "Become Legend," we are now "Become Irrelevant". There is [b][i][u]zero[/u][/i][/b] reason to grind for more gear at this point. I am deeply, [u]profoundly[/u] disappointed in Bungie.
