Take all ammo away from side arms after death

Make side arms have to be used as hip fire only

Keep some side arm ammo

Throw every sidearm straight in the trash

Just make it the way it used to be

Lose all but 1 mag (15-18 shots). Pick up 1 mag max from special crates rather than 2 as it does right now. It'll make it so you spawn with ammo on the sidearm, but you don't keep any you gain during your last life.
