Since you plan on removing the old Recovery nerf entirely from Blink, Astrocyte Verse's exotic perk, Move to Survive, deserves a change. Move to Survive seemed as though it was suppose to counter Blink's recovery nerf, and would no longer make much sense if you reversed the nerf.
Nobody uses this gorgeous looking helmet, so give us players a reasonable incentive to use it! The perk should still cater towards Blink in some way or grant a very subtle evade ability. It should definitely remain true to its name, where moving around effectively benefits your survival.

2 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 3/2/2017 1:02:46 AMI think the Astrocyte Verse should revert Blink back into its early year 1 capabilities for everything but the weapon handling nerfs because blink shotgun needs to stay buried for the rest of eternity. That means: 1) Shorter cooldown 2) Radar remains active 3) Can be used to dodge damage (By this I mean no "blue mist" hitbox after you blinked) It'd pretty much be the Warlock Evade; except restricted to Voidwalker which is fine since they don't have Overshields on melee hits or Thundersnipe.

8 RepliesHow about granting the ability to redirect blink, regardless of your momentum. Say you are running forward and go to Blink, if you activate it while holding back as if to slow down, blink will send you up and back instead of up and forward. Maybe? It's a bit hard to describe what i mean
-
Press B,B or O,O to evade. Like a short sideways blink except only horizontal moving.
-
Lets you keep your radar active with blink
-
A short distance evade would be awesome
-
Double Tap ionic blink type evade. That would make my main character more enjoyable to play.
-
That evade idea sounds awesome..
-
How about they do the same with knucklehead radar.
-
BUMP!!! This is absolutely the most beautiful exotic there is. Hands down. I use it just for the looks. ❤️💗💞
-
+2 agility, and move quicker while aiming for several seconds after blink. Removes you from enemy radar during blink cooldown. Reduced damage from getting hit with melees in the back during blink cool down.
-
Please!!!!! Bump

- boost to grenade and Melee recharge on blink. (Alternative: blink triggers energy drain) Or- blink reloads ammo and start health regen Or - temporary attack increase or damage resistance for 5 sec after blink Or, - allows double blink

8 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 3/1/2017 9:24:23 PMIf Warlocks got an Evade then Titans would have to get Blink and Hunter would have to get Overshield melees. The class and subclasses just aren't unique enough for that kind of change. I think it should make Blink go further and faster maybe even lower the cooldown. Besides Titans asked for blink all Y1 and they never got it (It's okay my Titan friends, blink wasn't as good as you thought back in Y1...*Snicker*...It was even better!)
-
Should grant double blink allowing you to blink twice without touching the ground and change direction or go higher with the second blink. Blink grants over shield Only other thing i can think of is remove all cool down from blink.
-
Speed up the animation and blink further seems fair, HUD nerf should be removed entirely.
-
I would like it to have an evade for warlocks. Hunters have Shadestep and Titans have Twilight Garrison. If you use it with the Blink node, it has its current setup. If it's used with any other jump node, it can be used the same way Shadestep is.
-
4 RepliesYeah, that's not way too much of a buff at all... Back to Y1 blinkers...oh boy...
-
If the evade thing becomes a thing, I demand to be able to shadestep on my other hunter subclasses as well
-
1 ReplyPress b,b to blink backwards
-
3 RepliesAlways with the evade... Why not just make one class with all abilities? Then, hunters will have overshields, and titans will have blink. Warlocks and hunters will have Shoulder Charge. Warlocks and titans will have throwable melees. Forget diversity, who needs that when we can all play as 1 character, with the same abilities?
-
5 Replies- doubles the amount of green engrams that drop
-
6 RepliesI want reduced cool down for Blink or an evade. Having an evade for warlocks wouldn't make them anymore OP than what Twilight Garrison does for Titans. It's an EVADE during jumping. Lower the melee range of a Warlocks to where a Titans is, and give Warlocks an evade. I would rather have an evade than a few more inches in my melee range. Titan melees do a lunge and that is plenty far enough and can do it's job just fine. Evades in games are fun IMO. Especially in shooters or pvp games. I love all three classes equally and this is what is missing from my Warlock character currently.
-
5 RepliesI'd love if it got the evade similar to Titans and Hunters. Both classes can use an exotic to give them an evade - make this helmet be the Warlock equivalent. And if people say "but Warlocks have blink - they don't need another evade!" - Keep in mind that Hunters have an evade AND blink available to them.

Edited by ThePerfectPixl: 3/1/2017 5:06:57 PMI was really disappointed when I found out the perk changed; it's such a sweet looking Helmet. I've had an idea or too about how to change it.

Blinking after receiving critical damage grants a large boost to Agility.
The Agility boost could potentially be swapped with Recovery to retain the original focus of the perk, but I feel like the name "Move to Survive" implies running away to stay alive.
