That was a very big gamble for them too. No publisher wanted to back them on this game. They said it wouldn't work. So glad DE proved them all wrong because now, DE has final say about their game instead of Activision or 2k or whoever. Bungie sold their soul again, this time to Activision. You think they would have learned from the Microsoft deal. Now if Bungie gets sick of making Destiny are they going to have to walk away from this game too? If Bungie would have self published, would they have got attention? You bet! Halo fans everywhere would have helped it along I'm sure. Now, not sure how much influence is coming from Activision but I bet it's more than we think.
