Moral of the story: don't lock 99% of your player base out of loot in a loot based shooter.

How about git gud?
Moral of the story: don't lock 99% of your player base out of loot in a loot based shooter.
Games are supposed to be designed for fun but bungie just tries to piss off a large portion of their player population. Now all the have left are the elitists
-
You aren't "locked" out. It's just as obtainable by you as everyone else as long as you put in the effort. Sometimes you can't always beat every game on it's hardest difficulty. A lot of times you won't want to even attempt it. Trials is basically destiny's hard mode unless you have a team with good chemistry and even then you will not always win. But everything else is cake.
-
Couldn't agree more. The day they created am elitist mentality this game went to sh.i.t
-
XD I remember during vog. I knew a guy who made it a point to let everyone know he was one of the first 300ish people to clear hard mode and get level 30. He would hold it above people's heads in conversations. Him and his elitist scum friends got removed from my friends list so fast. Anyone that tells me I don't deserve my loot just because they got theirs first either doesn't have a life or is in a small little world of denial.
-
Thats sad...that people behave like that. It ruins the experience of the game.
-
It's the reason trials is what it is now. Only the elitist scum and those willing to pay for their services can go flawless. Trials doesn't promote hardwork or teammwork or anything of the sort, it promotes the scummiest of human behavior. Year 1 random matchmaking was fine, because anyone could compete. Would they be guaranteed flawless? Hell no, but they had a chance and that kept people playing and trying to become better. Now it's win based and so easily abused. Hence the skyrocketing of paid carries. People floating teammates through cards. People doing anything they can to shit on another person's fun or hardwork, just to keep what's meant to be for the best as their own personal monopoly. If you defend the current trials system then there's clearly something wrong with your moral compass. Its not for the best of the best when people can pay their way to victory. Last two parts aren't pointed at you, but the people who like to say "git gud" as their go to phrase for anyone trying to ruin their grip on trials.

So many replies!

-
Nope.
-
Ehh. Never cared much about the trials loot anyway.
-
You're not locked out, you're just not good enough. You can get better and get there but nope. You sit here and cry on the forums instead of trying.
-
I'm not crying, I'm laughing ALOT. Stopped playing this last week. Have zero motivation TO play it. Having fun reading everyone else's comments though!
-
Me and you are the same!!!
-
Why get better when the 99% get paid ALOT more money in life than the 1% and pay 10$£€ for an account recovery. This will not change now trust me destiny competitive will be like this till destiny 2 and will likely be a problem into that too.
-
I'm not talking about money here. You can get to the lighthouse on your own. It may not be easy or simple but it sure doesn't need 10-60 bucks for a flawless
-
It isn't that easy, guy.
-
No, it's not.
-
Why're you saying ' oh just try to improve ' like its nothing then 🤦♂️
-
It took me a year and a half to get to the point I am I've been trying my butt off because I wanted to get better and win. I never said it's easy or fast
