The problem is that Bungie won't seperate pvp from pve like most devs do. So you have two classes of players fighting for control of the game's gear and abilities. One who wants them to be powerful and distinctive is their differences..,..pve. The other was them to be bland and the same so that "skill" rules the day....pvp. The two camps have incompatible needs, so they're being pitted against one another.

  • I'm a Pve player and have Been playing since October 2014, put in a total of £200 in this game. Bought the division last month for £15 and have already bought the season pass coz I find its PvE content far more superior to this sorry excuse of PvE

  • i find that Rainbow Six Siege's terrorist hunt gamemode (which is PvE) is much better than Destiny, it's kind of sad really.

  • I don't like the downgrades on rainbow six, just compare the finished product to the E3 trailer it's just sad.

    i only got into it after the free weekend it had, it seemed fun and not dead (like everybody has been saying) so i got it. it's more tactical than most popular esports games that's for sure.

  • Enjoy. The Division was a much better designed RPG than Destiny was....and by all rights should have been this game's fiercest rival. But the game got pushed out the door before it was really ready....and with a poorly designed end-game and absolutely broken end-game economy. As a result, the game (despite having one of the best campaign/side missions of any game I've played in years) pissed away most of its fan base before Massive managed to course correct. If the version of the game you're getting to play now were being released TODAY as a full game.....instead of the half-baked vershion we got last year? Bungie would have been in DIRE straits...... Because the game would have had the ability to pick up this game's PVE fanbase and walked off with it. Horizon Zero Dawn still might, if the game is as good as the early reviews are saying.

  • Separating the balance would be a good thing and not just for the game, the community as well. I never believed that things should be Op in PvE but it would be nice to have that incentive it had once.

    But that's my point. By upping the shotgun dmg(PvE) in the last patch to compensate voor the loss of crists. That shows us that it is possible to seperate the 2 with minimal effort. They should always do it like that.
