Attachable fusion grenades
Is there a way to counter these grenades. I'm set on high agility, but they keep sticking to me even as I move to the side. Any ideas, its the only thing I'm HAVING trouble countering. Sucks when you mow them down and then you get kill three steps away.

You're telling me you don't find it fun watching someone lob a fusion grenade seconds before they're about to die and it homes in on you like a truth rocket? That's obviously how this game was meant to be played. No gunskill just abilities.

They do track a little when they get close. You can sword deflect. If you ever have heavy of course.

Shoot them out of the air. Throw a grenade to counter, if the colide in flight they explode. Blink, Shade Step or Twighlight Garrison If you get stuck jump and move around. The more you move the less likely they are to stick.

Blink, shadestep, and twilight garrison are the best quick counters to sticky nades I know of. Beyond that, just get better at predicting your opponents

You can blink out of them. There's a minuscule amount of time where you're actually invincible during a blink. The timing is hard to do, but I can assure you I've done it several times.

22 RepliesWhy is this just now an issue ? These grenades have performed exactly the same for almost 3 years straight. This community... Guess it's okay that lightning grenades have more of an effective range than their visual effects. Guess it's okay for skip grenades and axions to be thrown hardly even near someone and have them track for several meters. But God forbid a grenade that actually takes a stick to kill someone has a little tracking. Guess what ? When you miss sticking someone, that grenades literally does nothing to that enemy unless they are dumb enough to sit there in the same spot. I'm straight up dumbfounded. This game is being demolished by people like you. Unfortunately bungie are complete push overs and cater to people like you. We are going to get to the point where melee's are going to be the only usable means of killing your enemy.

3 RepliesBlink can negate stickies. If you have a solid reaction time just blink as soon as you get stuck, then the grenade won't kill you. But since Bungie killed blink because "lower level combatants are having a tough time against blink" (LUL anything to save new blueberries from leaving a poorly produced game) there truly isn't anything that can actually avoid being stuck by a grenade. Shadestep maybe? But also with another idiotic nerf of reducing your hp gained from .5 instead of 2hp after armor level of 10 or higher (yes it's perfectly logical to make our guardians weaker for PvP and PvE aspects, everyone and their mother wanted this nerf right? We didn't want any changes to match making, servers or anything else actually important right?) you will practically get killed no matter what if you are stuck. Bungie back at it again with decreasing the skill gap even more. Devs gotta do whatever they can to go positive in their game right? They even went out and said they make changes to crucible based on what THEY deem fit through THERE "vast" hours of game play.
