Brg back weapon rerolling.
With the game imo in its worst spot it's ever been, I believe this would be a good change and would bring back players to the game. I know there are several other changes needed to be made as well but this change should happen as the current system doesn't reward the players who put time into the game.
I believe that rerolling should be brought back into the game but not as it used to be. Instead of costing weapon parts and motes, it should cost 15 legendary marks. This would be a good price because it would give people more of a motive to doing daily and weekly activities as well as people would grind for that perfect roll. I believe this would be a good addition as well because this would promote more primary play because people would feel stronger with their God rolled primary.
Anyways, something needs to change and soon. This most recent patch brought a new meta but also brought with it alot more problems. From now on we as a community need to start asking for buffs and any mention of a nerf should be ignored. Rerolling would be a good thing to bring back. I guarantee that the majority will be for it.

How about you only get to re roll only one perk on a weapon like 10 times. Each time costs 50 weapons parts 5 motes and 20 marks.

I like the ideal. I say keep the reroll the way it was in year one, but cost more motes and weapons parts and when you get the reroll you like. It stays with gunsmith for a week. Then you can buy it for the 150 marks . Just another crazy ideal

2 RepliesRerolling weapons takes the grind out of the game and a YouTuber just makes a video on a "god roll" weapon then you are just going to see that weapon it will just get abused you should work for a good roll on a weapon not get it handed to you cause you spent some materials

Have a kiosk where you can order any weapon you've previously had drop with any perks that you've had drop. For example, you currently have an Eyasluna with Triple Tap and you get an Eyasluna in Crucible with Explosive rounds or whatever. So at any time you can go and order an Eyasluna with Explosive Rounds and Triple Tap. You're effectively 'unlocking' the perks available to that weapon in the slots that they're available. Orders are delivered on Arms Day.

1 ReplyI have been thinking about this for a while. Getting that God roll is part of what keeps me playing. I think it should cost more than what the op suggested. Also only able to roll one perk at a time. My idea: each perk circle will cost 50 marks to re-roll, and after each roll the cost will go up by 10 for that circle, Maxing out at 200 marks. Also guaranteeing that each perk for that particular circle will come across at least once after about 15 to 20 rolls. That way one guardian won't have a vault full of God rolls and just a few that required work to get.

I guarantee that the majority will be for it.[/quote] I agree and posted that earlier... But with the current legendary Drops they should increase the costs for rerolling. Not like in Y1... Maybe that you Need 15 Legendary Marks and 15 Weapon Parts (because for the 2 perks and the skill tree in the middle you need a number of 15) and maybe some motes of light. But I hope they will bring it back ;)

Bring it back. With the latest patch I won't be playing Destiny more than 3-5 times a month anyway, so only needing the weapon and using some random resources to re-roll it would be great.

I didn't like rerolling the first time. If they bring it back should cost more then what it did plus 50 marks and you can only reroll that weapon once. After that reroll you need to obtain a new weapon to start over. That's my opinion.

You need not to forget to professionalize this idea of yours. Read every player's feedback and pick out things you need to modification yours with and fix it. And take some things out. You have a great idea here that bungie can capitalize on but would be amazing if partnered with one of my hot fix ideas I've been thinking about to correct the deficiency among special weapons. 16 RepliesIt will never come back because i go to vendor buy pallidrome re roll for god roll no grind needed same as any weapon you only need to get 1 and boom god roll for a game that works by grinding you to near death it goes against the whole point imo
