On my ps4 should i buy the uncharted collection or just play 4?
Will i be confused if i skip to 4?
Which one is the best?

If you have not played the first three it is worth playing them first. #1 is just ok. But you get to meet the characters. #2 is epic. # 3 is great. #4 will be so much better with all the back story of the first 3.

I'd get the collection since it's so cheap right now. Then get 4. They are all great games.

Was in same boat. Never played any Uncharted before. Figured Id try them out. First game was meh... good story though. Currently playing through 2. Lots better gameplay and so far the story is great. Id say get the collection first. By the time you finish playing them once or multiple times (if you are a trophy hunter), part 4 will probably be a few bucks cheaper and youll know the backstory of all the characters, including their previous exploits.

Get the collection. 3 full games for 20 bucks? That's a value all on its own.

You'll get more out of the experience by playing the first 3. Golden Abyss wasn't really important.

Get the remakes. I did, ended up being really underwhelmed. Still picked up U4 when I had extra scratch, but even it was pretty underwhelming.

I bought the trilogy when I fist got my PS4 about 6 months ago. Dunno if it's just me or if it's aged badly but I couldn't get into it. Clunky controls and nothing really gripped me gameplay or story wise.

Play Uncharted Collection because it is only $20. Then play 4. Skip Uncharted 1, play 2 and 3.

Get the Uncharted Collection first. It makes 4 so much better. It's what I did. The 3 games are amazing too. For its price it's amazing as well. 4 is great too

If you just want to not be lost on their history, there are three parts at the beginning, or on the demo from the PlayStation store, that give the the gist of the story for the first three games. Basic character history.

I'd say wait until Tuesday and get Horizon Zero Dawn. Uncharted 4 is alright, but I'm not a big fan of the series tbh I would suggest The Last of Us before Uncharted

Uncharted 4 is amazing, but I reccomend the collection. It's 3 amazing games in one package.

1-3 are ok, overall. In the way that a crap game, an ok game, and a really good game average out at ok. 4 is amazing.

The Collection can get as low as $15, so I suggest picking it up first.

Definitely get the collection first. 4 would still be enjoyable if you skipped straight to it, but it will be moreso if you play the others first.

Play them all! You will not regret it. There is a lot of references to the 3 games in 4. You will understand the characters a lot better. You could skip them and just play 4 but they are all amazing games.
