I don't mind seeing sidearms getting more play. But I don't like when you're forced into using them if you want special ammo. Because you don't really have a choice with the exception of slower paced matches. This is just in regards to Trials though. In regular Skirmish & Salvage I actually like the changes. It would be nice if you only lost half your special instead of all of it, but I honestly do feel more powerful when I have a shotgun now. & there's constant ammo up so it's really not bad. But when it comes to Trials, it's pretty unacceptable. You literally never have any special unless you run a sidearm :/
