PETITION: REPEAL HOTFIX 2.5.0.2
Before people who read my previous thread call me a hypocrite, let me remind you this gothic has affected the Destiny Community as a whole and practically ruined PvP.
I havn't touched Destiny since this update. I've heard that the new thing in Trials now is a side arm and maybe a pulse rifle. Shotguns were needed nearly useless and have no ammo on respawn.
If anyone else agrees with me that this update is absolutely ridiculous, then speak up.
Destiny will never be the same again.

of course i wouldnt want destiny to be the same. i actually like many of these changes and some i dont. what i would like to change is the ammo for sidearms be reduce to one clip upon death and change trespassers perk to accomindate for the special nerf. i love the fact that i have to use my secondary in a situational status. hc definitely got better even with the nerf to range. the initial acc made up for that. a well timed shot is well rewarded. pve its pretty beast when you stay within its range and not try to shoot as if it was a scout. now shotguns in pve definitely saw an improvement to dps. glad they fixed the hcr for scouts, auto, and i believe sniper. what could use improvements is autos damage in pve. its still lacking power(pretty much your whole clip can go into your target and still not die).

I don't think everything should be changed back to pre-patch. For example, the changes to auto rifles and hand cannons should stay, while the changes to blink and the special ammo economy should be changed back.

Bungie literally said they liked where sidearms were at, then nerfed every other special making sidearms the best option. GG Bungie. Just make it so every special goes back to a starting amount...whether it's one magazine, one and a half magazines, or no ammo do it across the board. The primary game is fine for the most part, being a hand cannon guy I hate the damage drop-off but that's me. I don't get the Bladedancer or Uni Remote nerfs but whatever

2 RepliesI like he primary weapon balance and the shotgun balance in this patch. But the nerf to blade dancers was uncalled for. The sunless is already bugged and needs to be fixed. There is a bug that doesn't allow to use in the air. This nerf also affected other healing perks. And guess what this weeks modifier for the nightfall is. Exposure. Another thing is the nerf to special ammo. Instead of just nerfing the shotguns they made it to the trespasser and the ice breaker own the crucible. They should have made it when you die you will lose a certain percentage not get rid of all the ammo

All that needs to happen is that side arms are treated like other specials and the game will be awesome.

Shotguns aren't meant to be good. They are meant to be a shotgun, which has a very wide spread and is only good at immediate ranges. The patch made loadout that are equipped for more than close range useful and you actually have to have skill and know when to engage and when to back off a gunfight. It makes the game much more skill based.
