Personally, I don't think primaries would be at an all time high at all... If anything, an all time low! I mean, why use a primary if you can always have a special that would out gun it?

You mean sidearms? The nature of special is to be range specific and tactical. They can be countered and outgunned many ways. Forcing us to just use one of them aggressively, but passive with rest is silly.

What I'm trying to say is... Yes, Primaries can outgun specials, I do it all the time, but changing the special ammo is only going to make people use specials more, because people play to what is easy

I understand the specificity of Sniper rifles and Shotguns, but Sidearms just are too specific and aren't used as intended and I am unclear of what the exact purpose was meant for fusion rifles, they're a great weapon, that can get quick kills at any range, but that's not specific at all!! And I agree that primaries can beat specials, but that's outside of the intended use of the special, and nobody is going to try to use a shotgun in the open or a Sniper with run and gun tactics. Although, I did notice that the best players mainly use their primaries.

I use a sidearm as a mini handcannon. I usually pair it with a pdx or luna/hawkmoon. Have to reload? Someone's pushing you too hot? Sidearm. Shotty rusher who knows how to close distance? Sidearm. It's a close range dueler. Think pistols in call of duty. I think fusions entire purpose were just for fun factor and unique gameplay. They're definitely awkward to balance.

I'm guessing you're more of a closer range fighter who will try to get close to enemies rather than try to compete at range? The only problem with the Call of Duty reference is that, using MW2 as an example, there was a huge problem with people using the Spas-12, so much that they had to make shotguns a primary weapon in following games. But I understand the idea of the quick swap to your handgun in close quarters. It's just a shame people don't use sidearms like handguns in CoD, because if you ran around with a handgun, you wouldn't normally do too well unless you were good/smart player

Oh god don't use mw2 as an example xD that game was fun because of how broken everything was. Biggest twitch fest in all of cod. But no, I dont really have a specific play styles. I love the feeling of a crispy 3 burst or triple tap. I love cross map fusion rifle kills with just a smidge of health left. I love crispy snipes at any range. The feeling of weaving cover and wrecking with a shotgun while everyone spawns on you in rift after an aggressive super push is too fun. Hozing down a blade with the 50+ bullets in my auto rifle is hilarious. Wrecking someone with a primary and baiting their team mate into range just to instakill with my sidearm makes me feel like I'm in a game as aggressive a cod and I love it. I love it all, I love this game. But I love having all those options, all the time. Not just one option for a couple months and then switching. Get what I mean?
