1 ReplyEdited by Youre Lightwork: 2/21/2017 4:30:16 AMIt's a pathetic excuse players like to use when they lose matches. & it's actually attempted to be used as an insult quite often. "Wow, running stacked, you're sooo good." Because Trials has become such a business that if you don't carry, you're not actually skilled at the game. Destiny : the only competitive video game in history that players consider other players bad for running with other high-skill teammates. lel

Going in with a team all around your skill level, also know as playing trials as it is supposed to be played. Not carrying someone for pathetic stats.

Edited by Zelrons: 2/21/2017 1:14:52 AMThe term comes from "stacking the odds". Effectively increasing the chance you'll win in a way that is perceived as unfair. Ideally a "stacked" game is one in which one team is very good and the other is not, to the point it's not a fair fight. In PUG games you might say a full fireteam against, well pugs, would be a stacked team. In Trials since the barrier of entry is having a full fireteam one could say that the term doesn't really apply. In terms of streamers they probably just mean to say they aren't carrying anyone and everyone is a competent player. No dead-weights and some such.

4 RepliesStacked means having multiple good players on the team. Like for example if you hear someone saying a team is stacked in trials, all 3 probably have a high kd/elo rating etc.
