Treasure Keys
I know this has been an issue but I couldn't remember what the specifics of it was. I had five treasure keys on my Warlock, then ran a strike--not the NF. A treasure key dropped and now I only have one treasure key.
Am I SoL or what? Any way to get these keys back?

1 ReplyYou are out of luck. Bungie wont replace them. As a rule of thumb, i never keep above 4 on my character at any time just in case another drops. If i get a 5th, i use 1 just to get back down to 4...even if I'm playing a strike that doesn't offer what I'm looking for.

1 ReplyGlitches. Won't be fixed anytime soon. Bungie won't give any back. Don't ask. Players need to be careful. DON'T LET ANY KEYS GO TO THE POSTMASTER! if you do it will delete any in the inventory. Use your keys. Enjoy the grind.

Hey fatboyslimmed, As others have mentioned, Bungie has acknowledged that Skeleton Keys are going missing. Bungie is aware of an issue in which players that have the maximum number of Skeleton Keys in their Inventory may lose any Skeleton Keys they try to retrieve from the Postmaster. They're are looking into it.

He's right. It's never going to be fixed. When it happens to you, you are just out of luck like the rest of us. All that grinding means nothing. Sorry.

It's clear Bungie will never fix this or the SIVA key fragment issue, which is a very serious one, much more so than PvP elitists being sad that auto rifles do 0.23% less damage than they like and being killed by shotguns. My only advice is to use the keys as you get them and make cache keys as soon as you get 10 fragments.

Something similar just happened to me. I just logged in for the first time since last Sunday. I downloaded the update and logged onto my Titan. I know last Sunday that I had at least 3 keys on each of my characters. My lock and hunter have their keys but there are none to be found on my Titan. I usually try not to hold more than 3, if I get to 4 I just use 1 for the same reason people use them at 5. I guess we are just SOL.
