Is latency poop again?
The first couple days after the update, everything was nice and crispy. I just logged in today and my god, I'm getting shit from behind walls, before I even see the other guy, or killed AFTER they're dead

Just got this game and have been hit with error codes. One of my friends was raging he was getting shot while behind cover, will never touch PvP by the sounds of everything that's going on.

People decided to try the update for a day or two. The overwhelming response has been negative so there are probably far fewer players to match with. That's what's causing the latency

Fewer players playing because of the crappy update means you will match people further away because of SBMM which will bring more lag. I stopped playing crucible. I'm just doing pve to get the icebreaker and a stock up on materials.

Loaded into a control yesterday... Of course, match was in progress AND our team was loosing. Nothing new BUT... I spent about a minute in the game with no players or flags to capture but could hear the entire game in process. Then it all just popped in and naturally you could not kill the other team. The highest k/d on the team I spawned into was .4 :/ So yes, although the issues are hit or miss, they are not improving for me. They have been mediocre to bad for me since the dawning dropped.

When I'm in orbit or doing PvE I have a green bar, whenever I play PvP I have a red bar. I've even quit and ran a speed test on the ps4 and it says I have a great connection and speeds, every time. I'm tired of being killed by lag. Can't tell you how many times I've shot someone with golden gun, get killed from them then get a post mortem for killing them with golden gun. Or I'll hit someone, they're still standing so I shoot again thinking I missed but nope, my 2nd shot misses because the 1st shot killed them but took too long to register. I've shot people with a fusion rifle only to die by melee then see a post mortem medal for the kill with a fusion rifle. I stopped playing bladedancer because I'd hit someone over and over yet deal no damage, only push them around. Then they kill me and another -blam!-ing post mortem for a kill using arc blade? Wtf bungie!? I normally don't complain and have never felt this salty. I'm a week 1 player and through everything I still enjoyed the game and played pretty much every day. Now? I can go several days and not miss it at all.

It started with "We want CBMM but -blam!- Dedicated Servers, to the people sayinf dedicated servers, you suck, we'll need a monthly subscription." Whilst I play Battlefield 1 online for free and they have dedicated servers and I dont pay a monthly fee. I noticed connection got progressively worse post ROI, and what put the cherry on top is the cbmm without dedicated servers. Even Deej said it's a be careful what you wish for moment. And I love how ignorant people are on dedicated servers. Will those servers fix everything? NO, Will they fix about 80% of our server issues? YES, I run fiber optic cable internet, the gold standard, why is it that other games I play don't have nearly as many latency and lag issues as Destiny? Oh, they have dedicated servers and not the stupid P2P crap meant for legacy consoles.

I made it to slam the rift last night on the enemy's rift and could not slam it I ran back and forward and nothin then i was finally team shotted 😢 I dont know if it was lag or glitch but I was ragin after that 😠😲

Trash, every game tonight and I played crucible for about 7 hours there was one maybe 2 and at times 5 or 6 laggy glitchers. That would make a decent punk band name. Crucible and the Laggy Glitchers.
