And before this they were shotgun kills dominant, before that was snipers. This has been a fairly decent weapons patch. I'm not that great a player and I still manage decently with shotty, sniper, and sidearms. Yes it's a pain to have to reload after every crate but now that special is removed on death you don't have snipers or shotty dominating the game. Most players are using primary weapons and those who need a special weapons are running solely sidearm, nlb, icebreaker or invective.
Honestly the game feels better. Now it's a matter of who aims better rather than who's matador has the better roll, or who sees who first while playing peek a boo.

How is it ok that I can only use 2 snipers in the entire game if i want to snipe? Same goes for shotgunning... how is that ok?

I've used the three I keep on my hunter just fine, also can still get shotty kills with my 44 curtain call. It's you limiting your arsenal here. The weapons (minus shotguns) were left untouched. Nothing left to blame but your aim. Specials I've killed with post patch: Matador 44 curtain call But not forgotten Devils dawn Trespasser Wormwood Black spindle

In elimination style playlists after round 1 you get basically no special ammo- your choices are limited to literally those 4 weapons.

Use you primary. Get off your special crutch. Grab ammo when It spawns in the match. People like you piss and moan cause you lost the easy to use guns. God forbid you need to shoot more than once. If you need it that badly run a -blam!-ing sidearm. Been running them on and off since y1.

Literally everyone is using sidearms? That is not balance. This has become a teamshotting campy meta. Without special ammo it is impossible to challenge a camping team of primary team shotters. This leads to stale games in which you sit there playing for your super occassionally chucking a grenade in hopes of getting a lucky kill. Special weapons have important roles in this game that primary weapons cannot fulfill.

Well here's an idea: 1. Equip sniper you can use well 2. Find the ammo crate they are camping. 3. Pick one of the unsuspecting bastards heads while your team flanks and helps draw attention, preferably from both sides. And about sidearms, remember 2 weeks ago when only matador was a thing? Only reason sidearms are being used is they keep special, if they lost.out too nobody would use it.

If I had sniper ammo I would genius. But in elim now nobody does! The game is broken in its current form.

You can still pick it up. You can push with that other gun, think it's called a primary. Learn more tactics than, run pull trigger on shotty or sit in hallway aim down scope and wait. And if your issue is so bad. Play another Playlist.

So basically wait 30 seconds and do nothing til special spawns in the beginning of the match- k that is boring and not fun. And as i already said if you try to push a team with just your primary who is together waiting for special you will not win period- you will get teamshot. And I enjoy trials/elim very much and many, many others do as well. Bungie cant just kill a gamemode like that. They are basically cutting content.

Again, teamwork. If you can run a 2-1 flank. Best case run a pincer, one in mid the others flank from the other sides. See what they are using, if they got in close weapons slap on a scout and hit em from afar. Scatter, incendiary, lightning, void wall, flashbang, storm and pulse grenades all work for priming and scattering those pesky cuddle puddles.

Thats the thing you cant flank anymore- everyone on the other team just turns their attention at you and quickly kills you before you can land a kill. I can tell you havent played trials since the patch launched, go try it and tell me what you think then.

I gave up trials long ago. Why go through that he'll some more when I can better use my time.

K that's what i thought. All those ideas you listed are good in theory but dont work in game. As of right now a lucky grenade or a super is the only way to beat a team of camp- teamshotters. And that needs fixed (at least in elim style).

Had em work plenty in all other playlists. I'm no great player but I know how to not be a lemming and charge in over and over. I gave up on trials due to casuals sick of being shit on in game and on forums constantly. The lag is horrendous, least when I played 3-4 months back. It was an even bigger cluster -blam!- of shottys and it wasn't worth the aggravation and waste of time for what I wanted. The damn grimiore. Could care less about armor or weapons. As for normal Elim I usually have to solo que which is a death sentence. I play 6's occasionally and 3's mostly. Those tactics work well there. Personally used em.
