I'm not sure how late I am to noticing this, but I wanted to let all Amazon Prime members know that all three Destiny soundtracks are included with your membership through Amazon Music. I downloaded the full albums this morning to prepare for my trip from one corner of Pennsylvania to the other (travelling home from a business trip), and I can't express how great the ride was.
It was amazing how easily I was able to visualize the different parts of the game by listening to the music. In my mind I replayed seeing the Traveler for the first time, defeating Sepiks (both times), taking down the Fallen S.A.B.E.R., sword fighting with Crota, encountering Rockets McDickface, and taking so much unnecessary sass from that bald, bitchy Cryptarch in the Reef.
I also never realized just how beautiful the music to Destiny is. It was great to hear the different mood for each album as well. The original score still gives you all the feels of exploring and seeing everything in Destiny as a brand new Guardian all over again. The Taken King album definitely gives a dreary, dark vibe with great emphasis on the regal sounding horns. And the Rise of Iron album has a rather sad and somber tone as if Bungie was apologizing for the lack of story and content.
All in all, while Bungie might be a hot mess when it comes to HotFixes, they sure do make some great gosh darn music!
I know! I've been listening to the Destiny soundtrack and the music is the most beautiful music i've heard. Have you heard "The Music of the Spheres"? If not, I highly recommend listening. It's basically extended versions of songs in the soundtrack. Here's the link.
