I don't think first curse really has anything wrong with it I was using it today pretty crispy it's part of my trials loadout now

  • On top of the first curse being a great gun now so what the range is down on it we aren't trying to have pocket snipers the accuracy is great it has very great damage and noticed one person already is going like hey this gun is great dust it off and use it. Another thing is if it kept it's range every hand cannon player would probably flock over to that gun making it now called the first meta I feel the gun is fine and that nothing should be done to is as long as the other hand cannons also remain the same

  • I guess my question is what are you doing with FC that you aren't able to do with other weapons? It's an exotic that stands out in no way. If you are doing great with FC try out Hawkmoon, it's probably going to do just as well if not better. FC has no role at the moment. It has a pulse TTL with an HC range.

    I mean I can still use paili and HM I just find more accuracy from FC

  • Yea BC of the crazy aim assist that probably shouldn't even exist. A weapon shouldn't be built around sloppy play and getting kills, eg crispy. The range on the other hand is a stat that should be encouraged on slow methodical weapon like this

  • Yeah I guess could be changed but like u said drop the aim assist that shouldn't exist make it recoil more and have that extended range you desire and make handling a little harder that's the only area I can see this hand cannon being allowed to get more range

    Also, I want to add. I'm only suggesting it having its last pre nerf range. It had all the things you mentioned, including bloom but it was still on the low end of usage. Putting its range back isn't going to break the game

    More recoil and less handling? You do know it(high impact HCs) has the highest TTK/lowest fire rate in the game. It ties with mid impact pulses for TTK but lacks the range, NO BLOOM, and has more recoil. Even pulses can get the same range aim assist. That isnt a weapon thing it's a destiny thing. Even sniper rifles have aim assist it probably shouldn't have. So in summary a slow, long TTK weapon with an above average but not unheard of aim assist isn't asking to much to restore its original range

  • Not much before because there were more advantages to pick from now it is a more viable weapon to use instead of pail for me the weapon is accurate consistent and fun to use sure back before the update it was a lot better but what I'm trying to say is the weapon is great and out powering the old meta cannons for me at least

  • I guess that's my point. If you look at my stats. While you do have many more kills overall my second most used weapon is a hand cannon. Most of those kills are from PvP and most of those are from First Curse. It wasn't ever a close to being a meta weapon to begin with and to see it sink even further is rather disappointing.

  • But now people are talking about it like it exists again it hasn't sunk but is now floating due to it being consistent in this meta it now stands with the before patch meta hand cannons like Luna and pail and hawk moon is also technically back but first curse is more constant making it a very good choice now making its range higher than all hand cannons that were nerfed would make people find a new thing to complain about and annoy bungi more than we are now about specail,side arms and no land right now so as I said earlier as long as other hand cannons stay where they are now first curse should stay put

[/quote] Which would be true if it were only HC Vs HC but it's not High impact HCs have no role as I have been saying. They were on the same boat as high impact pulses and auto which both received a buff I believe (not so sure about the autos). High impact HCs get beat by scouts and pulses at mid to long range and beat by autos at close to mid range. They have nothing that they excel at, in any scenario.
