Bungie, make patrol more fun by allowing us to run around infinitely in Arcblade or Hammers, even Stormytance could work, maybe Sunsinger also. I'm just saying, I went into patrol just to have fun with the glitch, and I must say, the most fun I've had in this game in a while has to be me taking down and entire Walker Tank with only an Arcblade. Like what is more fun than that! I see the problem with this glitch in Strikes and Crucible and Raids, but cmon, leave it in patrol please. Allow us to have fun!

This glitch makes patrolling fun. The forge is where it really shines

Edited by SmashvilleViking: 2/19/2017 11:28:03 AMAccording to this guy, it gives players an unfair advantage in "competitive" strikes... https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/222449579/0/0

Leave it in PVE and we're good it makes the game fun again. feeling like flaming thor while charging a boss knee is fantastic
-
Ya, I've been reporting everyone I see using it. When I can't get a kill because some dweeb needs to exploit a bug you're getting reported.
-
I think this touches on an even bigger issue: A lack of fun modifiers to gameplay. How fun would it be, to have even more melee damage from brawler? To have the elemental burns go back to the 3 times player and enemy damage instead of the 2 times player 3 times enemy damage? To have bonus damage from precision hits? To getting a bonus chance of loot from killing enemies using nothing but vehicles? And all of this, in any game mode! Think about how much variety they could have in crucible if they made a "favored weapon" game type where it would randomly give one type of primary weapon a 50%+ boost in damage for the game.
-
Wouldn't fly because it would trivialize world events on every planet and patrol area lol..
-
Bottom of the line is, it's fun. So Bungie can't have it. Ive been around this game since the start. I know a lot of people say that, but most are lying. If there is one thing I noticed about this game, is that Bungie LITERALLY removes fun from their game one way or another. Never in my 15+ years of gaming have I seen a dev literally purposly make their game less fun. THEN be dicks about it.
-
I like the glitch, as long as we don't use it in crucible and abuse it in strikes, it could stay. I personally think it is the best glitch since the sunbreaker glitch back at the beginning of the ttk.

Edited by Sire Belmont: 2/19/2017 6:38:38 PMDestiny has become quite bland this year, and followed by the fact that Destiny 2 will be out this year sometime, I see no harm in keeping it on Patrol. It's not like it's affecting anybody else, but more like helping them. Plus, the Fallen don't necessarily have a say in what goes on. Lol All in all, as long as nobody does it in PvP, then everything's golden. This is the incentive that Bungie needs in order to understand that applying changes is fine as long as they don't do it across the board by including PvE. Complaints in PvP about a certain weapon, piece of gear, or ability SHOULD NOT apply to PvE. What Bungie does when they nerf a weapon is just straight up laziness. Just simply leave the PvE aspect of the weapon's/gear's/ability's power alone, instead of saying "-blam!- it" and nerfing the weapon/gear,ability as a whole across the entire board. That's insanely lazy.

Edited by TrikMoneySchmity: 2/18/2017 7:09:29 PMHonestly this will probably be the only glitch they fix can't let you have too much fun now
-
I want it to work with sunspots, but it destroys the sparrow before locking it in. I want to see the world and frame rates burn.
-
Friend of mine did it during strikes the other day and I just sat there and did nothing because that's real fun.
-
This glitch is The best thing after 1 year
-
Yeah it's really fun
-
For those that want to know how to do it. Be blade or hammers 1. Get super 2. Pull out sparrow 3. Get off sparrow 4. Start getting on sparrow 5. Activate super when the circle is halfway complete of you getting on the sparrow 6. Switch primaries 7. Get off sparrow 8. If done right you will keep the super

Edited by Marcheziora: 2/19/2017 1:59:08 PMI saw a group of Titans & Hunters the glitch and we're amazed that I'm like the only Stormcaller (not true, others do know it but it's the hardest to master) that know how to do it! xD
-
Saw something weird in patrol in the Plaguelands....

Edited by Inclement Karma: 2/19/2017 10:35:10 AMMore people than you think actually enjoy Patrol. Having a bunch of idiots running around with permanent supers would ruin it. Edit: autocorrect is speaking in tongues.

Why does everyone think this glitch is new? It's been around since y1. I was doing this as a golden gunner in How era. It doesn't give Gg unlimited shots but you can hold those shots for as long as you wish with this glitch. I do admit in y1 I only though it worked for Gg but it's definitely the same glitch as it still works exactly the same for gg.
-
No get rid of completely no need to ruin the game even further by not letting other people get kills in PvE.
-
NO...
-
Has anybody done sunsinger or stormcaller yet?
-
Removing arcblade entirely is bungies next step in nerfing bladedancer into the ground. This glitch seems as good a reason as any to take it away.
-
I don't get it. Does it refill or not go down or wgat?
-
What makes you think they won't patch this? It may be fun, but it's a major flaw in the developers' eyes.
-
The only real reason I'm playing is because it's fun just having a laugh with friends and doing this, but it's getting patched. That's just how life works.
