I'm not sure how late I am to noticing this, but I wanted to let all Amazon Prime members know that all three Destiny soundtracks are included with your membership through Amazon Music. I downloaded the full albums this morning to prepare for my trip from one corner of Pennsylvania to the other (travelling home from a business trip), and I can't express how great the ride was.
It was amazing how easily I was able to visualize the different parts of the game by listening to the music. In my mind I replayed seeing the Traveler for the first time, defeating Sepiks (both times), taking down the Fallen S.A.B.E.R., sword fighting with Crota, encountering Rockets McDickface, and taking so much unnecessary sass from that bald, bitchy Cryptarch in the Reef.
I also never realized just how beautiful the music to Destiny is. It was great to hear the different mood for each album as well. The original score still gives you all the feels of exploring and seeing everything in Destiny as a brand new Guardian all over again. The Taken King album definitely gives a dreary, dark vibe with great emphasis on the regal sounding horns. And the Rise of Iron album has a rather sad and somber tone as if Bungie was apologizing for the lack of story and content.
All in all, while Bungie might be a hot mess when it comes to HotFixes, they sure do make some great gosh darn music!

It's sad but I turned off music in the game cause when I raid my anxiety naturally -blam!-s up durinf Aksis' soundtrack

Just reading some comments...how do some of you not notice music when you're playing a video game? It's a key component...
-
Why would you choose to listen to instrumental music, from Destiny, for hours on end? Sounds like an insanity test.
-
I rather listen to dogs having sex
-
Did they wrongfully dismiss the guy who made this music and steal his shares?
-
Did you get an emblem for purchasing the music?
-
So when you're not playing destiny you're listening to it? Loser
-
Why did Bungie have to get rid of Marty O'Donnel? Because corporate Bungie couldn't "Act" iPon their "Vision" of success..
-
Th music is very good. The game not as good as it could be.
-
Turned the destiny music off years ago. In game music is the first thing I always disable in a game since it takes away from the immersion
-
Thanks Op I looped some of breakdowns and added drums to them. Currently emailing Drake, Kendrick and J Cole hopefully they like it.
-
-
Meh, I like dark souls music better.
-
Thanks, I never use prime for music or video just shipping and twitch subs
-
Is it bad that I didn't even know there was music in this until like the beginning of year 2?
-
I know! I've been listening to the Destiny soundtrack and the music is the most beautiful music i've heard. Have you heard "The Music of the Spheres"? If not, I highly recommend listening. It's basically extended versions of songs in the soundtrack. Here's the link.
https://youtu.be/OZP2V2ecb-o
Good to know! Last I checked RoI wasn't there.
-
Reef Cryptarch is a dick. Constantly throwing shade at your engrams. Lol
-
Don't mention that we like it because bungie will nerf it...
-
Yo! Thanks dude!
-
I'm a Prime member, and it's great. Good look out, OP.
-
Soundtrack is probably the best thing about this game
-
Nice post, thanks for sharing!
-

-
Sweet, thanks for PSA!

I may have slightly possibly bought them all and got all the emblems
