DPS Calculator

First of all, here's the DPS chart:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1797HKX5AGU7bYj0Bx7164WXvh5yLzwnfRoiEiyJF8fI/edit?usp=sharing Just open it, make a copy for yourself and have fun!
This chart gives you a somewhat accurate reflection of DPS in Destiny. All of this data came from me shooting stuff in the Dreadnought and timing and testing everything, I did some research to back up my findings, so everything you see is based on Dreadnought data, but everything else is like 95% accurate. I'll try to add modifiers for Bosses, different enemies and locations in the future maybe. So, for the chart, I'll show you how much damage per second (DPS) you're dealing. You can compare up to 4 weapons, it'll show you the Burst Damage per second, and DPS. The first one is how much DPS you'll do without having to reload, the second one (DPS), is taking into account the time it takes you to reload, that's why Reload Perks and Gloves Reload Bonus is so important. The first tab, 'DPS Chart' will pick the weapons from the second chart 'Weapon Rack' and show your DPS based on your perks. For now I have 4 slots, you can only change those numbers from 1 to 10 and I'll grab it from the other tab. This tab 'Weapon Rack' is where you set up your weapons, you can choose the Weapon Type from the drop-down, once you pick that up, the RPM drop-down will update with the corresponding RoF values, you can choose you weapon's there. The Reload has to be set in 10 increment values (round numbers) as I didn't set up the numbers in between (crazy formula), but it's so insignificant that it doesn't make any difference anyways. You can take this value from any app like DIM or the game itself. The next value you have to set up is the Magazine Size, and below that will be your presumed Critical hit Chance, this will determine how many times when you're shooting you will get a Crit. By default it's set to 50%. Next you'll pick the Weapon Perk, 3 different slots for this, and next your Reload Perks if you have. Finally a simple Yes or No if you have the corresponding Gloves with Bonus Reload speed. For Damage and Reload Perks, you can choose to toggle those off to have a more accurate perception of damage, as some are very situational, like Outlaw or Crowd Control for example, as you have to get the kill to trigger the Perk, so it's up to you to see how those work. Some damage perks also I choose not to include, like Soft Ballistics, as it's 2.5% damage increase which is very laughable, I just decided to add 5%+ which starts making a difference, NOT! The chart will show you similar archetypes on the side, and stick to the yellow highlighted areas only, if you change anything else you'll break the table, I protected the fields, but anyways, stay away! :P You can set up to 10 weapons for now, and you'll choose the numbers displayed on the left on the first chart. For now I only have Primary Weapons working, my plan for the future is adding Special and Heavy weapons, Exotic Weapons too (lots of mechanics involved) and a little display that shows you how much more % powerful is one weapons compared to the other one. Here's a quick graphical explanation if you don't wanna read all of this wall of text, anyways, hope you guys enjoy it! PS: I have to change some stuff after the latest patch, but I'll work fine for the time been. Oh and BTW, this is mostly for PvE, :P I'll do PvP at some point.
