I used first curse for the first time in months yesterday. Weapon is crispy as ever! It will probably be my go to handcannon from now on.

    You are the 2nd person to say something like that. This update has done nothing but hurt First Curse due to the unique properties of the weapon. Here is the breakdown... Hand Cannons [b]Significantly increased initial accuracy (returns to Launch / Year 1).[/b] [i]That does very little to help first curse because it already has a very high accuracy. Also due to is worst in class fire rate it was the HC least effected by bloom[/i] [b]Reduced base range to 35m from 40m[/b] [i]That decreased the base range as well as the range buffs for dead eye and first curse perks effectively removing it's exotic perks[/i] [b]Reduced Aim Assist and Magnetism at longer ranges[/b] [i]First Curse is meant to be a long range weapon but you will be punished for fighting at those ranges[/i] So yea, this is an overall nerf. If you are doing better with the First Curse it's inspite of the update, not because of it. At least in my opinion and experience

You won't be able to distinguish between a range of 40 meters and a range of 35 meters unless you're testing for it. Also, how'd you figure that the range nerf applied to the perks? I agree with most of your argument, but this is a terrible point.

    I know as bad as it this anecdotal evidence sounds it's how it "feels". The designers literally said they want us to go on how a weapon feels over actual numbers and it definitely feels different. I know where a shot will land after using it for so long. I know when an opponent is out of range and when im throwing a hail Mary. I typically don't need four shots. I either land all three or miss one and die, as it should be. If they are going to give it one of the worst TTKs in the game it should only reason it should have one of the longest ranges. If that five meter nerf was inconsequential in your opinion why implement it at all unless it adds measurable difference? My personal opinion is that it was a nerf added to balance out removing bloom without taking into account high impact HCs. As you see they buffed high impact pulse but I would argue high impact HCS were more in need of a buff than the pulses. Edits: sorry it's been a long night
