So, I'm just gonna start this post by saying I'm not the best player in the crucible (which you can probably see by my stats XD) and yes I am biased, but I do enjoy playing on both voidwalker and bladedancer so I will try to be as unbiased as humanly possible. The title really says it all with this post. The hungering blade plus blink changes actually hurt voidwalker more than bladedancer. This is because the voidwalker has way more perks that deal with lifesteal and is even one of our melee perks and on an exotic. This means that voidwalker actually lost more due to this nerf (albeit unintended to even happen to the class). The class is built itself off of the lifesteal and energy drain mechanics which most voidwalkers utilize to get the fullest out of the class. The blink nerf didn't help the class either. There is no reason now not to use focused burst due to the amount of disadvantages you have that are tied to blinking. Now I know you bladedancer mains are like "My class still got hit harder cuz of the quickdraw nerf (the perk is a misnomer now btw as it doesn't actually apply quickdraw like WTF bungie?)." But I would like to remind you that the warlock ophidian aspects got nerfed as well. These were especially good on voidwalker but were albeit more universal. So, my problem with this is that a class that wasn't supposed to be nerfed got nerfed harder than a class that was specifically getting nerfed. These whole changes in general with hungering blade and blink really shouldn't have happened in the first place. I didn't see one person complaining about bladedancer being too strong. So I would like Bungie to just reverse the nerfs all together. tl;dr- Voidwalker got hit harder by nerfs to hungering blade and blink than bladedancer did due to most of the voidwalker class having some aspect of lifesteal and even exotics that provide it(Ram). Edit: Forgot to mention that bungie simultaneously also nerfed fusion rifles and defenders at the same time XD. (Sry defenders and fusion rifles)
