I don't typically post here, but I always lurk. Now it seems like a good time to voice my opinion. So thank you bungie, for ending the god awful shotgun meta. No more banging my head on the controller. I lose so many that way.
I am sad however that my grasp of mal was nerfed. I spent months in ttk grinding for that thing. It just doesn't make sense to nerf the magazine and the ROF. It was what made it worth the grind. There is this principal called reinforcement. Reinforcement is what motivates people to play this game. It's why we spend those months grinding for a perfect weapon. Well you have taken that away and made the reinforcer into a punisher. Essentially, you have punished all of those countless grinding hours that your player base has put towards getting that gun. In fact, this has become a pattern with this game every time there is a nerf. Punishment by definition decreases behavior. What I am saying bungie is; don't be surprised if you lose players. A game based solely on grinding for the perfect weapon, should never punish it's players for doing just that. My guess? No one will be playing omnigul EVER AGAIN. You just made an entire strike completely worthless because you took away the reinforcer for that strike.
Well I'm done here. Elder scrolls online still reinforces my video game grinding behaviors.
