So I know this is very late in coming, but I figured this would be a good time to mention it since the sandbox is currently in flux. I don't know if this was common knowledge, but The Last Word was actually a PVE BEAST before the April Update in the Taken King. It sounds ridiculous, but hear me out. I ran aggressive ballistics and high-caliber rounds and did nothing but hipfire. The range was better than expected, and the damage output was MASSIVE. There was nothing more fun than to shadestep in, kill a Taken Knight in the time it takes you to blink, and roll back out twirling your gun. But when Bungie balanced the damage in Crucible, they also killed it in PVE. It just doesn't do enough damage now -- headshots were always rare, but before they did so much damage that they were usually the killing shots. I'm not saying it should 2-shot in Crucible again, but if it did its pre-April damage to minions of the darkness, then everyone could experience what I think is one of the most fun things to do in Destiny: being the true space cowboy. Please let Bungie know so they can make this game even better!
Sorry about the long post: a part of me died with this gun. TL:DR: Make TLW great again! (in PVE)
