'We believe that Hotfix 2.5.0.2 is an important step forward to maintain the health of the game and that getting it out to you ASAP is in everyone's best interest.'
Really? The patch negatively effects many more elements than it fixes! Why didn't you just fix primary weapon damage? No need to even touch anything else.
BladeDancer nerf? Because the guy on the stream says it's a personal 'frustration'? The same guy who appeared like he'd never played Destiny PvP before. Or Deej's cautionary advice regarding 'spamming' The Last Word!? It has a full-auto mode built into it's tree. How is using the weapon, as designed, 'spamming' it?
Personally, I don't buy that those individuals are the most well-informed available to be making the changes described. What about the adverse effect these changes and many other historical ones, for example the ridiculous sniper rifle flinch nerf, have in PvE? Or long-standing bugs in the game like Astrocyte Verse - the coolest looking armour in the game that is never used because it's 'exotic' perk actually has no measurable or discernible effect.
Skorri is only a concern for Trials players, it really isn't an issue, at all, to the general populace. Why concentrate on that? How does that benefit the vast majority of players who don't play Trials?
You appear to be intent on sabotaging your own game.

Edited by chunkyjo: 2/15/2017 1:22:25 AM" it really isn't an issue, at all, to the general populace" Because those tryhards are the most vocal. I never advocate firing somebody over a PR disaster like this because shit happens, but this was absolutely uncalled for, especially since they knew about it and still decided to push it out because "f*** you". Somebody (cough-Josh-cough) should lose their job over this. If I did the equivalent at my job I'd be fired in a heartbeat. I don't get angry easily, but this pissed me off. Not the changes themselves, mind you. If they released the patch and THEN discovered the "inadvertent" changes, I could see that as reasonable. But they f***ing knew about the "inadvertent" changes and still decided to push the update. Been saying it all day but this is just hard proof that nobody gives a F*** about D1 over there anymore. And since it's clear that they don't, then I don't. There are plenty of games out there, and as much as I would absolutely hate to give up D1 before D2 comes out I'm completely willing to delete it and make room for games from devs that actually give a s*** about my playing experience and ACTUALLY test their patch. Look at GTA. That online community has had a thriving playerbase for YEARS without any more than a blip from Rockstar. yet somehow Bungie F***s everything up with once literal click of a mouse. Unless this is fixed fast, I'm deleting the game and I'll stare at the blank screen until Mass Effect is released.
