We all know the names of the ten Iron Lords: Saladin, Efrideet, Timur, Skori, Gheleon, Felwinter, Silimar, Radegast, Perun, and Jolder. However, i believe there may have been another, an eleventh iron Lords lost to time whoe name has been wiped from the legend of the Iron Lords.
When Taken King introduced artifacts, one of the Warlock artifacts was a broken Titan helmet named Segoth's Head. What's so special about this particular helmet? If you look closely at it, you can see the designs of the Iron Banner, similar to those on Saladin's helmet. Then comes the item description, which reads:
'Thought we formed the Banner to fight the Darkness, not ourselves. Just don't bode well, s'all I'm saying.' -Gheleon
From what Gheleon is saying and the design of the helmet, here's my hypothesis as to who Segoth was:
Segoth was a Titan and the eleventh Iron Lord. Sometime after forming the Iron Banner with the other Iron Lords, he was seduce by the Darkness and turned against the city, betraying his brothers and sisters in the Banner. With no other choice, the other ten Iron Lords were forced to kill Segoth, who had either lost or relinquished his Ghost, thus permanently killing him. This left Lord Gheleon feeling uneasy about the Iron Banner going forward, as they had been forced to kill one of their own.
I thought this was interesting and while I don't think Segoth plays a huge role in the Saga of the Iron Lords, it's interesting to know that there is one of them who died yet doesn't have his/her own statue in the Iron Temple. What o you guys think about Segoth? Who was he/she and what role did he/she play in the Iron Lords' story? Note: I don't have all the grimoire so Segoth may be mentioned but I am unaware.

Don't forget that Saladin mentioned there were more than 100 iron lords attacking Siva, only 9 made it to the chamber (not counting Efrideet). There are more than just 10 iron lords. Sure, Segoth would be one of the 100 that died. Why you don't see him as a statue is because Lord Saladin only made statues for the Iron Lords that died in the chamber. This says that he died before it.

5 RepliesThere are two areas without statues in the iron temple. Maybe there is another we do not know

Segoth is mentioned in Lady Perun's grimoire card. He was a warlord. Basically the opposite of what the iron lords morals were about. He used his Light for tyranny and injustice. He was probably a warlock since he was described wearing 'long red robes'. Artifacts aren't necessarily what they appear to be (example: hunter artifact Efrideet's eye) and she still has both.

There were hundreds...

3 RepliesThere are 21
i swear everyone forgets the wolves
Actually by the time the iron lords were fighting siva there were supposedly hundreds of guardians following them. Granted they were probably iron wolves, but still Segoth was probably an iron wolf turned bad by some major event or perhaps his own lust for power.

In Perun's card I think it makes it pretty clear that Segoth was an ex-Iron Lord turned Warlord, but that's my interpretation

4 RepliesThere were hundreds of iron lords not just the ten who were especially famous. From the discribtion we can assume he was either a fallen iron lord who had to be killed as he was to dangerous or an war lord killed for the same reason. My geuss as there are iron lord markings on the helmet is the former but it could still be the latter.

2 RepliesNot exactly. You need to read the grimoire cards. No offence. Basically Sefoth was a Warlord, who killed The Risen, who were basically earlier Guardians. He had a sector of land, and used the Light for evil, like Citan. Petunia eventually challenged him to a duel, and a duel that she won.

3 RepliesRead the Lady Perun grimoire card Segoth was one of many rogues who had the same powers from the Traveller as the Iron Lords but wasn't with them
