Restriction, how long does it last?
My sons account got restricted from Trials due to a bad connection, or lagging, and I was curious as to how long these restrictions tend to last. We have since hard wired his XBox and rewired the house so that all our wires are CAT-5 so the "red bar" or "lagging" will not be an issue.

1 ReplyWhen you notice you're internet speeds are down, a lot of red barring, or lag with game. Try restarting your modem (and router). It can help.

1 Reply2 weeks at least if it's connection issue. Or they extend it by months if you've disconnected a lot. Plus players could have reported you for bad connection. So you need to be careful because your next ban will either be longer or worse, permanent.

8 RepliesBungie doesn't just restrict for red bar lagging. I've red bar lagged off and on for years with this game and have never been issued any type of restriction. Your kid probably was cheating in one way or another. It's probably a high chance of it. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to your internet that will prevent your kids cheating....
