Ok, here's my list of problems with carrying ToM to that fight:
1) It's intrinsic perk is mostly lethal for you since you run the very high risk of being killed by continuous damage from the gun plus that inflicted by ads and Aksis himself.
2) You waste your exotic slot on this one gun, which could be better used for an exotic heavy like Sleeper, Gjally or, yes, Dark Drinker. Those same exotics can help you kill captains faster without even wasting a supercharge. The same can't be said for ToM.
3) If you decide to switch primaries and heavies prior to damage round, well, yeah, you can do that, but it's always going to consume precious seconds where you can miss the opportunity to inflict dps or, at worse, get killed by anything during the switch.
And...nothing else comes to mind right now. Simply put, there are safer and more efficient ways to do tons of dps on Aksis without risking your life using a gun exclusively made for and/or as a prize from the previous raid.

I admit that running gally, dd, sleeper etc. can be more 'safer' bet as an all round weapon. But for the people who are skilled in using a touch, moght wanna try this out thats all. I agree with a lot of your points don't get me wrong. Yes tpuch can ve reckless if not used properly. As for wasting supers etc. I always have my golden gun after shooting captain as there is loads of orbs from other team mates. As for swapping primaries i don't, i use touch all throughout phase 2, some people may change of they cannot deal with shanks, but i don't struggle with shanks using a touch. Thanks for the feedback though, a lot of people agree with you 👍

Truth be told I've always been curious about using ToM to finish off Axis, so I might be willing to give that a try. Hell, that TLW/Matador combo is so crazy I like it. At this point, anything that spices up a raid run might be fun.

I use TLW and matador for Aksis.

Well, that's definitely an interesting loadout. Does it work for you?
