Can't download Destiny on new PS4 pro
So I purchased rise of iron on a buddy's console. He already had the original game and the first two expansions on his console at the time. I have been able to play just fine since then (about 4 months). Now, I bought a PS4 pro and when I go to purchases to re-download Destiny it says "installed" and doesn't give an option to re-download or play.
I thought that maybe it was because I didn't have the original game. So, today I purchased Destiny: The Taken King Bundle hoping that would fix the issue. Nope! Now both just say installed but don't give the option to play.
As far as I can tell, the original game is no longer available to download or purchase. Can anybody steer me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

Make your ps4 your main and if your name is on his make sure your name isn't activated as main ps4 on his

1 ReplyThe base game is only available via disc or via Destiny: The Collection digital bundle. It sounds like you and your buddy were game sharing/license sharing the base game that was under HIS user name. It which case you actually do not own the base game.
