Eris Mourn's Betrayal Theory and possible Destiny 2 Enemy?
So today I completed Regicide for the TTK story and the words Eris says in the cutscene intrigued me.
"My Queen...you were right.....the guardian was the key......For one the whispers fall silent.....i will not fail."
Before you enter the boss fight arena in Regicide, there are two statues: one represents Crota, Oryx's son and the other represents a Hive Godess named Nokris.
Could Nokris be possibly Oryx's daughter? (Yes i know he already has Îr Halak and Îr Anûk)
Anyway, my theory is that Oryx did something to Nokris. She now wants revenge and Eris could possibly mean that "Her Queen" is Nokris.
Maybe that "rock" she has may have a connection to Nokris like a communication device of some sort.
Also, could Nokris be a main antagonist (with Eris) along with the Cabal Empire in Destiny2?

But I presume Eris is awoken, and I can't remember the name but she, another unknown male guardian (probably osiris or Toland) and the Queen talk about Oryx. I think they are talking about a plan to make Toland the taken king. The guardian was the key was referring to how we got oryx to our system and banished him to his throneworld showing we could kill him. Well thats my theory.

I do agree that Nokris is a female, however most speculation and the shreds of evidence that we do have suggest Nokris could have been Oryx's wife, that got in a fight with him. In remembrance of her, he built that statue, even though he ordered all records from the worlds grave to be wiped of her. Big softie. The queen that Eris was talking to is MARA SOV. Not Nokris. Ever wonder which "hidden friend' the queen is talking to in the opening cutscene of the taken king? She doesn't mean it as "hidden from view". She literally means "hidden" as in The Hidden, Ikora's network of spies. Eris is confirmed to be a member of the hidden, and Eris is confirmed to have visited her. Sorry, but it is not Nokris.
