Low rof buffed to 28 damage, still maintains same ttk against everything other than gaurdians at and below 190 health.
At 191 health requires 8 bullets, at 190 and below 7 bullets.
Allows for better shotgun control.
And better in intended range.
Medium rof buffed to 21 damage as a base and 22 with aggressive ballistics.
Gets faster TTK against gaurdians below 190 health and anything above it maintains its ttk for 21 damage.
22 damage gives a faster TTK against everything below 200 health, lower accuracy counters higher damage (hard light)
Base low rof auto magazine increased to 28.
Minimum carried ammo capacity 400.
With perks increased to 650.
Damage fall off stays the same to compensate for extra damage.

Keeping their ttk the same isn't going to make more people use them. Until autos are put back damn near year 1 levels of effectiveness, they are going to continue to sit in the front of our vaults. There is no reason to use them over pulses or handcannons. Fast rof pulses are in a good spot, with the exception of hcr on grasp. Handcannons have been ruined by Bungie being too lazy to fix range and adding in this bullshit they call bloom. Autos lose at range to handcannons and pulses. They don't kill anywhere near quick enough when facing shotgun rushers. They have no place to excel. At this point I would be happy with year 1 autos and handcannons and year 2 pulses. Scouts are irrelevant because of map design. I am hopeful that we can finally return to a primary meta (i hated the slow paced harscoping trash of year 2, and the shotgun warrioring of year 1/3.) But this wouldn't be the first time Bungie let me down.

Add new perks to the weapon type: Something similar to luck in the chamber, where 1/20th of the magazine does an extra point or two of damage per shot. -Just for example, actual numbers probably need to be tweaked to make it a decent perk. Something similar to final round, where the last bullet or two or threw do extra damage. - Not double damage or anything crazy, just a little extra to give it a bit of punch before you reload. Something similar to headseeker, where after 3 body shots, the next two bullets would do extra precision damage. This would add a skill curve as people tried to sweep up and down from head to body to head for the damage buffs. Basically what I'm trying to say is to add perks so that autos could still be total crap base weapons, but a god roll would make them similar in usability to a good pulse rifle but with less range.

Sandbox Dev 1 - "Matador seems to have a much higher usage % than other special weapons. Hmmmm..." Sandbox Dev 2 - "Easy fix: Nerf shotties into the ground." Sandbox Dev 1 - "But..." Sandbox Dev 2 - "Dude, we are supposed to have been working on this for the last 6 months. We don't have time for critical thinking anymore; nerf them all."

Low ROF- 26 buff to 29 crit Mid ROF- 20 buff to 23 crit High ROF- 15 buff to 16 crit Simple But as long as The Last Word is in this game with a TTK of .5 seconds and a all body shot TTK of .8 seconds autos will suffer. Range on the last word compared to autos isn't that big so it's not hard to close that small amount of distance and kill an auto with the last word. Reason y we don't see TLW too much is cause everyone n their momma is using a shotgun and it's not the best set up together.

Just flat damage increases. The fact that you must keep line of sight when using an auto at all times gives it a pretty big disadvantage so I think a faster ttk over all would help

But lets be serious here...they need to kill quicker! 29 precision for high impact and 23 for mid impact would see them kill in one..just 1! less bullet. Remember they're more than likely going to buff fusions and sidearms in the upcoming patch and autos will be eaten up by these secondaries if they don't get a direct reduction in thier TTK. I like where your thinking with this but I have to push for a bigger buff considering the likely changes ahead.
