Exo-Resistance to radiation, heat, and Cold, Weakness to water, Doesn't need Oxygen, Has increased strength, armor, and intelligence,(I'm referring to stats according to the fallout stat system) Humans are somewhat afraid of Exo's, Other Exo's sympathize with you and Awoken are intrigued by Exos
Awoken-Resistance to cold, Weakness to heat, water, and radiation, Has increased intelligence, endurance, and perception, Humans are uneasy around awoken sometimes and Exos don't care
Humans-Resistance to Water, Weakness to heat, cold, and Radiation, Has increased agility and perception, Awoken are slightly racist towards humans often and Exos don't care,

I like how the more recent Phantasy Star games do it. Only noticeable to min/max turds in the end, one race (awoken/newman) better at (abilities/techniques (aka space magic)) Little lower on the "I can take a hit" scale. One race (human/human...) just jack of all trades, not hindered by anything, but not amazing either. No drawbacks. One race (exos/casts) robots who arent too good with (space magic) but sometimes have their own unique traps or gadgets. Amazing on defences and strength, but somewhat noticeably lower on the other points. Idk, I like their system. I'm the guy who does squishy melee character because reasons.

1 ReplyThere will be no destiny 2
-
Everyone remember, This would be taking place in Destiny 2 and in no way be affecting Destiny 1 so stop saying that something like this can't happen. Destiny 2 is going to be an entirely different game than Destiny 1.
Hopefully.
4 RepliesAt the best I think each race could have a bonus to armor, recovery, and agility. Decrease the values of each point increase the amount needed to read max stats Humans: Bonus Agility Awoken: Bonus Recovery Exo: Bonus Armor And then they could give our classed leveling stat bonuses. Like bonus intellect, discipline, and strength Titans: Bonus strength(+2 every level Warlocks: Bonus intellect (+2 every level) Hunters: Bonus discipline (+2 every level) If bungie used a "Skill Points" system this would work a lot better because your characters could gain 5 points or so into to be able to put into the stat category of your choosing (int dis str) and the class bonuses would stand out more. Game could work like this if bungie introduced a new leveling system instead of the bare minimum that it is

1 ReplyNerf the Exos!

2 RepliesYes but this is probably Too Much RPG for Bungie

2 RepliesEXOs: Not being a puny human has its benefits, even when you are a Guardian. Your EXO body is able to exert yourself beyond your mental limitations. Gain a slight increase to armour and movement speed. Humans: Humans were the first to be blessed by the light, mostly because of their natural attunement during the Golden Age. Your genetics allow you to take more advantage of the light's blessings. Gain a slight increase to recovery, as well as super regeneration. Awoken: The Light can be found, even in the darkest places. The Awoken Guardians still manage to retain their use of light, which in turn, mutated due to their harsh environment. Gain a slight increase to grenade and melee regeneration.

2 RepliesThey do. And exos dance the best

9 RepliesRacing is the dumbest distraction from no content ever dumped on this community. Please no sparrow races in destiny 2.

2 RepliesIt'd be cool, I haven't read the comments but like each race gets a buffet to a certain stat like increased strenght if you're am exotic etc. Or something like that.
-
Maybe something different? Like with established concepts from the game. Ex: exo have additional toughness, awoken have additional ability damage, humans can level up gear faster
-
6 RepliesDo we really need to create an environment where people are going to be all "such and such master race"? I'm fine with the subtle differences in stats and abilities to come from sub classes or even faction.
-
3 RepliesDoes this look like an MMO or a Bethesda game?
-
That would be cool
-
That would be cool in PvE, then because bungie can't separate PvE and PvP it would lead to a series of race meta's and nerfs. No thank you. We already have enough of that with the guns in this game.
-
Yes yes yes
-
Would love to see this! Would make the game much more interesting!

9 RepliesEdited by PushedBean764: 2/6/2017 8:31:44 AMIf stats are anything like Destiny 1's, the best we'll get is: Human +1 Agility +60 Discipline +30 Strength Awoken +1 Recovery +60 Intellect +30 Discipline Exo +1 Armor +60 Strength +30 Intellect

Eh it'll cause a lot of problems. If it's at all lore conforming, exos would be better in almost every way lol. I'm also not too keen on fallout making its way into destiny. The games are too different.

This would make balancing exponentially more difficult/impossible
-
2 RepliesI would want maybe a second racial Super, regardless of subclass. The concept of an Eliksni playable race got me thinking about it- why not, for a racial super, draw 4 pistols and wreck house for a while

Edited by TotalDramaGamer: 2/6/2017 11:01:35 PMEveryone in here is throwing up a storm about balancing. Just remove the bonuses when involved in PvP... problem freaking solved. Oh wait, the great dev minds can't do that. Because reasons. Actually, they just can't admit that having everything share the same stats across everything isn't a good idea. They would have so much freedom if they would separate the two areas. And yes, they've done PvE only changes before. Most famously, the shotgun buff for PvE during HoW. They can do it. They just choose not to.

You're racist.
