OYE! THIS POLL IS WHAT YOU WERE BORN FOR! Sarah briggs really didint do as well as she did in the first game, Militia used to be the bro fantasy in the first game. Even the grunts were major bros (bish especially), but they clearly where established, and clealry had personality. but now it's like "YOU CAN DO THIS!" "YOU ARE WORKING FOR THE GOOD GUYS". The mistake is that their allignment IS their persona now. Now this isint necessarily bad, the problem is that sarah does not say anything inspiring that you would expect from a good allinment leader. Not good, but i dont mind them. They are my third favorite Kuben Blisk is still awesome, still has my favorite lines from tf1 and still has perfect voice for commentary, only the ideals have changed, but his voice lines, tone, and allinment are the same. The predators all feel like kubens new persona, and it feels good being in it for the fight, while getting a nice check. Tied for my favorite Vinson Dynamics ash really didn't hold me, i tried her for a few games but shes just too monotone. My guess is they tried recreate spyglass, as a female, but its just not as drawing. Spy glass had simple voicelines but they were booming and loud, making him sound awesome. Unfortunately theres not much else to say about them, ash is doing it just to figure out her past, which we know nothing about. So we dont have a known cause, or a good announcer, they are my secong least favorite 6-4 gates feel like a brotherhood good faction. The thing about that made the IMC just as likable in the first game was rather than the bro miliary in the Militia, the imc was that powerful, true military. 6-4 is the true military imc feel but they are good instead of evil. The thing is they feel like a true military, but still like a family. Courtney tailor (The voice of nora from fallout 4, and Amanda Holliday from Destiny) did a fantastic job as usual and did perfect portraying a commander who expects professional work but care about her troops. 6-4 is tied with predators for me The angel city aces take on the persona of the tf1 milita, they are bros who are good at what they do and have their own cause and will do good. Liam o brien knocked it out of the park for an announcer of this type of faction. I pick this faction when im missing bish, or when i wanna feel like a gears of war bro, in a big ass mech. They literally celebrate victory with drinking! Second favorite faction. Ares division is absolutely terrible. The imc had the same simplification of allignment becoming persona. The commander even says, "WHATEVER WE ARE EVIL, JUST COMPLY". Once again this isn't necessarily bad, but the new commander takes the same isssues as Sarah briggs. They didint do a great job, and they dont say anything to give u purpouse or encouragement. The main issue i find is that they didint embrace their new persona enough. For example, i mentioned the commander does not give you a motive, and just tells you to fight. They should have made him a hitler clone, or some kind of imperialist leader, saying "UNITE UNDER THE IRON CROSS!" Or "VICTORY BELONGS TO THE IMC!" Or "GIVE YOUR LIVES FOR THE FRONTIER!" They dont feel evil enough is what im getting at.
