Threads like this inevitably get disliked to the pit of the Earth. And based off the comments in these types of threads, you can certainly see why. A lot of kids on here just don't understand the situation. There are so many posts every time essentially stating 'Sony paid money Microsoft did not so it is fair.' What these folks do not understand is that Activision partnered with Sony in order to get Bungie deeper into the Playstation market, for which they really weren't known having only produced a game in the 90's for the PS2 and nothing else since. Microsoft was never included in that decision. There was no 'Microsoft refused to pay' deal like kids here assume (I use the term 'kids' not as a derogatory term, but as a descriptor since it seems a reasonable assumption the people posting those kinds of things are not yet at the point where they can critically think about such situations). Furthermore on a moral note rather than a factual note, regardless of what a company paid or did not pay, the PLAYERS on each side paid the same amount. An Xbox user paid just as much money as a Playstation user, but got less for their money. Nobody whose opinion is worth a damn would ever actually support depriving people of content they paid for. Another common defense for the practice I hear is 'Well Xbox got Halo.' This leads me back to the idea that these folks aren't critically thinking yet. Xbox users paid for Halo, yes? But Playstation players did not. They paid nothing for the content. Meanwhile with Destiny, Xbox users paid the same amount of money Playstation users did. This is why it is just an incredibly silly comparison- trying to equate a console exclusive title to console exclusive content within a title. And the final thing I'd say is regarding the comments of ''well the content isn't that great.'' And the bottom line is... so what? If both players paid the same amount, let them decide if they do not like the content. That is in no way a defense of ripping content from half the playerbase. The exclusivity deal was good for all three companies. Bungie got into Sony's market. Activision didn't have to pay for tons of advertising since Sony did it for them. Sony got a flagship title to help sell their new console at its most crucial juncture. All three companies win. But you know who doesn't win? The players. Because this is exactly the sort of practice everybody should unanimously be opposed to. Withholding content from people that paid for it is wrong- it's really the same principle as cutting content from a game to sell it as DLC later. You're withholding something either way. The only people that could ever feasibly support such a practice are either not critically thinking, or they are incredibly selfish individuals that do not care about their fellow gamers nor care about the state of the industry.

Honestly you Xbox players need to chill out, you guys have had Loyalty Rights to every CoD since Modern Warfare 2 getting expansions earlier than PS users. So what you don't get favoritism from Bungie and Activision on this one. Get over it or convert to PS4

Okay, for one thing, they are not [i]that[/i] good. Not for 8 posts a day requesting Jade and Zen. (Sounds like an asian lesbian sitcom). Zen Meteor is only used by people that force themselves to use it to try actually find a good niche for it. Other than that, it's horrible because the perks never proc and it's easily outclassed. Jade Rabbit is okay, but definitely not worth the ridiculous amount of anxiety XBox fans are putting themselves through begging for it. Secondly, when Sony or Xbox get exclusives, it's because they went ahead and paid for the exclusives to come to their console and their users. Meaning, Microsoft could have done that for you guys, but chose not to. Your problem lies with Microsoft, if you could even describe it as a "problem" to begin with. It has been a long time now, so I could see them coming off the exclusives and opening them to Xbox players, but it's honestly not worth fussing over. It isn't [i]that[/i] much more content, and even if you got it tomorrow, I'm pretty sure it'd be a bit underwhelming. Saw a post the other day where people realized Dust Palace was kinda terrible and annoying. It's like eating steak and looking at mine and saying, "But he got asparagus on top of his! No fair!" If I could I would fling the asparagus at you and watch your face have to eat it just to hear you say "oh."

The reason Ps Players have EXTRA content is because Sony pays EXTRA for out EXTRA content. Microsoft is not paying for EXTRA content for you guys. Its not Bungies deicision. If microsoft wanted to pay for EXTRA content then i bet Bungie would accept the offer

If you think PlayStation got those exclusives because Bungie favors them, you're sadly mistaken, and understand nothing. It was merely a business deal, and nothing more. Sony formed a contract with Bungie, and Activision. They paid for those exclusives. Microsoft turn down the deal. That's why PlayStation gets those exclusives, not because of some sort of favoritism.

We're on this again? XBox has had more than it's share of exclusive content and timed exclusives. I'm not saying it's right just hypocritical and funny that they complain now that it doesn't favor them. Sony paid in this case, MS didn't. Suck it up and move on. You shouldn't have supported exclusives when they were in your favor and it wouldn't be an issue today (maybe).
