Destiny: how old is the Last City?

9 RepliesWe don't have an exact date, but we can infer that it is at the very least, over 400 years old. Here's a breakdown of my reasoning. The Iron Lords were well known and mentioned for participation in the Battle of Six Fronts, which took place an unknown time after the creation of the City, although we know that it was relative in the City's early years. The Battle for the Replication Chamber occurred after Six Fronts, but likely very close after. Lord Saladin sealed the Iron Temple after the fall of the Iron Lords as the Battle for the Replication Chamber. From a scan, Ghost tells us that the temple has been sealed for over 400 years. Personally, I would put my money on the City being about 500-600 years old.

It says in the introduction in the game when you create a new character it "Took centuries to build" said by ghost. That means it is likely older than 500 years at least.
