Unlinked Bnet profiles have NO place in Feedback

Edit 1/21: I should have been more clear, what I'd like to see is not linked accounts, but visible. No more "this account has not played Destiny" bullshit in the Feedback forum. You shouldn't be allowed to hide behind a Bnet account with no gamertag or PSN ID readily visible to other users. Perfect solution? No. Would it reduce toxicity and trolling around here, while simultaneously improving the quality of Feedback? Absolutely, yes. Original Post: I think we can all agree that the toxicity in these forums is ridiculous (I have slung my share of mud, to be sure). A huge part of said toxicity comes from Bnet users whose Gamertags or PSN IDs are set to "private." These people, whether they play the game or not, are allowed the exact same access to the forums as active (i.e. DLC-current) players. This makes ZERO sense, especially in the Feedback Forum. My motivation for this post: I just received this message from user U4236034, a prolific troll: "Maybe you should follow the lead of that 12 year old girl in Georgia," referring to the girl who live-streamed her suicide. That comment, and the tragic death it refers to, made me angry and very, very sad. Angry that there are such disgusting people here, and that the Internet gives cowards a voice; and sad for the girl and her family. How truly heartbreaking. I digress... First, comments like the one I received should garner a life-long ban of the account from Bnet. Second, that first point doesn't mean shit because of Bungie's allowance for hiding your Gamertag/PSN ID. U4236034 will be U4236035 by tomorrow, but if his GT/PSN was visible, he could be console- and forum-banned from Destiny today and for ever. Third, by requiring that forum users have their Bnet profiles linked to and visible on their Destiny-playing profiles, I think far fewer keyboard warriors would spout their toxic shit if it could result in a ban from the game as well as the forums (and possibly a ban from XBL or PSN). Side note: Plus, if you're going to comment on the game, I should be able to see that you've actually played the f ucking game. Bungie, you need to decide what is important to YOU for the Feedback Forum associated with Destiny 2. Do you want to protect your active (I.e. paying) players, or some out-of-date policy designed to what, protect the "anonymity" of Bnet users? Because the latter is a total crock pot of shit. And for anyone thinking this is censorship, it's not. Requiring your XBL or PSN account to be linked to (and visible on) your Bnet profile is not based on anyone's point of view. Edit: Here is the original thread (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/221218494?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1). You could argue that I should receive a ban for my shade. So be it. If you don't recognize the troll, then you must be new here.
