This isn't new news or a new bug. It's been around since the release of RoI. However, with last Thursday's (9/29) Hotfix, coincidentally, I noticed my New Monarchy Exotic Titan Mark started visually displaying the on spawn animation. I was stoked! Nothing in the Hotfix mentioned a fix, but there it was! That excitement was short lived. Fast Forward to Sunday.... Suddenly the on spawn animation was gone. Nothing. Tower, PvP (I first noticed it when I spawned into my first ToO match), strikes....you name it! A few more passages in, suddenly I'm seeing someone on the opposing team spawn in the FWC exotic bond and it's animation! Really?! Why isn't mine working, but his is?! So, my question is, Bungie, DeeJ, Cozmo....someone! When are we going to get this fixed? Besides the boost to NM rep I get for wearing it, I also wanted the unique/cool on spawn effect! EDIT: Apparently Iron Lord Artifacts are causing the issue. Removing them restores the spawn animation effects. Though this is a work around, now that we know what the cause is, a fix for this still needs to be done. I prefer wearing my Memory of Jolder. EDIT2: using an artifact, both iron lord and regular, without the last perk node purchased, still didn't allow my NM and DO exotic class item's spawn animation to work.
