Pulses are working as intended. They are supposed to be accurate at range and keep their damage with accuracy. This is nothing new in the world of fps. Burst weapons do good damage with good range and accuracy. Thats how its supposed to be. Thats y they fire in bursts.

Then they should have stuck to 3 archetypes. If they don't give them enough role diversity they can't be balanced. That's the problem we have now. Rof and impact is not enough

I know pulses should do more damage. Perks are meaningless imo. The only perks u need are range for hc/ars and stability for ars. Perks dont make people good.

Perks has little to do with low impact having no downside whatsoever.

That's not what the videos about. It's showing that faster shooting pulses like the grasp start their damage falloff farther away from the target than the slower shooting pulses like hopscotch despite the hopscotch archetype having a larger range stat.

He's not asking for a nerf, he's explaining how they blanket nerf the whole type of weapon itself instead of individually nerfing ( attempting to balance ) a single archetype. the nerf pulse rifles got a while ago wrecked low rof pulse's while the high rof were barley effected. They did a blanket nerf across all the archetypes which ended up with the hopscotch and spare change to never be much of a competition to a grasp or clever dragon ( at any and every range ).

Its suggesting a nerf. Maybe not out right saying NERF THIS SHIT like the crazed nerf herders who scream and yell but people see this and will claim its evidence those weapons need a nerf. It just starts more shit on top of an existing nerf shit storm.

Nah I feel you, I can see where you're coming from. He exploits how high rate of fire pule's do what they do, while almost sounding like he wants them nerfed because of it. I feel like he's not asking for that though, I feel like he's just simply demonstrating how bungie blanket nerfs shit without closely looking at something individually, just like how fusions got nerfed and it ended up effecting the vex, just and ( only ) because it was a fusion rifle. Ya know?
