They're better than scouts from scout rifle ranges lol. Pulse rifles are as far from balanced as it gets right now.

No they're not. Scouts have way better range. The problem is the map size. They're all too small. If you play combined arms, scouts will dominate. Those are the only maps that have scout rifle range.

As far as time to kill from far away goes, scouts are in fact better, by far. But the problem is that scouts are severely affected by flinch because of their enhanced zoom, and therfore have issues landing their shots, even when the pulse keeps hitting body shots with a headshot sprinkled in. The drop off of fast pulse rifles is not the problem, the problem is the high flinch factor they retain at far ranges, and the stability in general. Reducing the max stability of grasp and dragon to where the waltz sits would go a long way to making the weapons less reliable from range, while retaining closer range lethality. Also giving them a drop off as far as flinch goes would allow scouts an easier time shooting back at the pulse user. Removing high caliber rounds, or only having it in nodes or rows where the stability perks are is also something i would like to see.

Edited by WardenMagen: 1/23/2017 11:04:51 AMThe Waltz has higher base stability than GoM or CD. It does have a slightly lower recoil figure Edit: I see you said max stability, which is much lower, but it is still easy to stay on target even at 78

https://youtu.be/SVytUovpcE0 This is a high cal clever from range. Ill let the video do the talking.

What are you talking about. This is not range. This is well in the range of a hand cannon.

Yeah. Too stable, and too much flinch.

For sure. There's times I swear I was melted with a machine gun.
