I just discovered how devastating the EPG is last night. I've used it before but not for more than a couple of minutes. It's quickly becoming one of my main weapon choices. I can easily take out campers behind a wall with the splash damage, I've gotten used to shooting in the path of a moving pilot for a one-hit kill, and it melts titans. Combine it with amped weapons and your splash damage can practically one-hit enemies, without a direct hit. Even if I'm having a hard time hitting a guy who's dancing with me in a flurry of failed melee attacks, I can just jump up in the air and keep shooting the ground. TL;DR: EPG is life.
