Although I thought transmogrification similar to World of Warcraft in Destiny would be VERY cool, I had several other ideas relating to transmogrification but also something different. My first idea to change the COLOR for weapon and armor customization is somewhat related to a "dying" system. Like Ark: Survival Evolved, you can dye your weapons and armor with resources you find in your environment. This can work in Destiny with how you can use Spinmetal to make your weapon or armor appear with a silvery texture, or use Relic Iron for a more bronze texture. Of course by the time Destiny 2 is out, there should be more resources in the game with different rarity (Legendary, Exotic) you can use to make your weapon appear red, blue, etc. (but that's for another time ;). Once you have collected these resources, you can go to the gunsmith at the tower and pay him you change your weapon or armor (hopefully in Destiny 2 Glimmer will have more value). The Gunsmith can also perform more unique customization tasks by changing the "chassis" of your armor or weapon. The chassis will decide the model of your weapon, like making it look more Fallen, Hive, Cabal, etc. styled for a higher price.

1 ReplyMaybe the way you could get the things to make your weapon look Fallen, Hive, Cabal, Vex and maybe siva and taken could be gained from a certain patrol on the designated planet, fallen at the Cosmodrome, Hive on the moon, vex on Venus, cabal on mars and maybe siva on the plaguelands and taken on the dreadnaught.
